From the forecaster

A large dome of high pressure will dominate the weather forecast across the Eastern, Central and Southern states late this week through the weekend with dry conditions and little rain. From Texas and the Gulf Coast to the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes, temperatures will be well above normal for this time of the year, by as much as 10-20 degrees. Now the couple of trouble spots... 1) Florida will be breezy and windy again this weekend with locally heavy rainfall across south Florida. 2) A Pacific system will deliver rain showers to the Northwest over the weekend.

On the Radar

  • Saturday: Pittsburgh @ Miami (Showers, Windy); BYU @ UCF (Windy); Houston @ Utah (Cold)
  • Sunday: Chiefs @ Seahawks (Showers)
